KeyStone Center is a drug and alcohol addiction treatment center that is situated in lovely Chester, Pennsylvania at 2001 Providence Avenue. Addiction to drugs, alcohol, or any other substance of abuse, can take a toll on the well-being and livelihood of the addict. It's important that these individuals seek professional treatment, guidance, and care in order to safely and successfully beat the addiction. Whether the patient requires inpatient treatment or outpatient treatment, KeyStone Center can provide patients with everything they need to beat addiction.
It's very typical for an addict to believe that they can overcome addiction on their own. Although this idea may seem tangible, going cold turkey is unsafe and more than likely will result in a relapse in the very near future. It's imperative that addicts seek the help of KeyStone Center as patients will receive quality addiction care and treatment methods at KeyStone Center. If addicts do not seek help for drug and alcohol addiction, their future will be unclear. This is because addiction is a degenerative and progressive disease that requires intense, professional treatment in order to conquer.
KeyStone Center can provide patients aged 18+ with unique treatment methods along with compassionate care and guidance. The counselors that work with the patient will be by their side every step of the way, helping to ensure their success in recovery. Every addict is able to overcome their addiction if they want it badly enough, but it does take the professional help of KeyStone Center in order to get to the level of sustained sobriety.
Through deciphering the core reasons why the patient uses drugs and alcohol as an escape will help counselors to better create a treatment program that works for them. A tailor-made approach to recovery is what patients will receive when they enter KeyStone Center and this is believed to be the best way to treat addiction.
If patients are truly ready to overcome their addiction and begin a new happy and content life than they will succeed in recovery. They must be in that mindset, though, in order to achieve lasting sobriety. Ron was a great admissions couselor,he went the extra mile
Saved my life. Freedom staff is the best!
I think this place is great. Its easy to complain about things when u have nothing to compare it too. I thought ur there for YOU, YOUR RECOVERY. However the reviews are complaints about non sense. If u hv medicaid what kinda facilities are u exspecting. Look all in all its a rehab not a spa..The only thing negative i can say is there could b a fitness area because that would increase endorphins n mk u feel better..
I’d bet at least half of the people in these reviews aren’t even allowed to return to Keystone because they have behavioral issues, lie about their medical issues, and/or are totally uninvested in their treatment while they’re there. Basically, they’re bitter and didn’t put in the work while inpatient to actually get anything out of it. They hang out in the halls during group, are only there to make their P.O./family/CYS happy and get them off their back, have sex and get involved in drama, get into fights or steal, constant med-seeking, or even get caught bringing in drugs. That’s not necessarily a problem with Keystone itself, that’s just the volatile and unpredictable nature of the population they serve if I’m being honest. The thing with rehab is, you’ve got patients who are entitled and require instant gratification/resolution of their problems (and every problem is the biggest issue ever that has to be resolved RIGHT NOW or the world is over), or else you’re totally incompetent in their eyes. Those particular patients take away from everyone else. But it goes without saying that addict behavior translates into constant neediness and entitlement, with a bad attitude or worse coming out when they don’t get what they want. Take these reviews with a truckload of salt for EVERY rehab, not just Keystone. Notice the pervasive negative reviews for Friends, Fairmount, Mirmont, Valley Forge, Eagleville, etc. It’s a trend, but bottom line is that you get out of treatment what you put into it. That’s a fact. I used to work in the field, been in recovery 14 years, and have had several family members and friends in and out of rehabs (including Keystone), in and out of recovery, and they’ll all say the same.
My son was there for 35 days and he loved it there he has been doing great the staff is very nice and treated me with respect every time I went there yes it was a little crowed but in my opinion this is the best help my son has ever had thank you keystone
I was just reading so e these reviews and I couldnt believe that what I was reading was coming from adults. People complain about drug use and sex and people fighting and this that and the other. What do you expect when you out over a hundred people who our coming off drugs and have mental health issues under one roof all together? Like it's a rehab it's not the Hilton it is not meant to be comfortable or easy your suppose to be uncomfortable it's a rehab. Anyway I have been there and I think it's one one of the best places to get sober. Some of the their counselors and staff really care and want to help you. Alot of them have been through it as well and can relate. They lived it and didn't learn it in a book and seeing someone who was in active addiction on the other side of it doing well and being successful gives you hope and inspiration. Jeff, Melissa, Erin just to name a few are awesome staff members who go above and beyond to help you. The nurses are some of the nicest people on earth especially Jess, Erin, and Lanette they are so sweet. Any rehab you go to you get out of it what you put in. You have to be willing to take advice and surrender your will. You can get clean anywhere if you want it. Now is it the nicest rehab no not by any means. Every place has its pros and cons. They do have great food though, well in my opinion. I would definitely recommend going here if your struggling with addiction. Just prepare to see some crazy stuff but thats any rehab. Every place you go is gong to have people there because parole or the parents or there girl. But you can't take others inventory, you just have to be responsible for yourself. That's the first step in being successful on the road to recover well admitting you have a problem is the first step but you know what I mean.
I arrived at Keystone on August 11th of 2011. My life was a mess, I was unemployable, at 6’1” I weighed only 145lbs and on the verge of losing my wife, my children, my freedom and my life. Today nearly 5yrs later, I’m still clean, weigh 210lbs(omg), work in the field of substance abuse, live with my wife and children and I’m completely enjoying my life of Freedom From Active Addiction. Thank You Keystone! You were exactly what this recovering addict needed and I am forever grateful for the treatment I received while I was in your care. “When at the end of the road we find but one alternative. Either to go on as best we can to the bitter ends of Jails, Institutions and death…..or find a new way to live” I have found a New Way To Live!!!!
Went to Keystone Ctr in summer of '15. I fought to get into rehab because I knew I needed it having a viscous heroin habit. They literally saved my life. The counselors, John and Julia were the best. With Keystone Ctr and basically just like everything else in life, you get out of it what you put in and if you wanna stay clean and have a better way of life, Keystone could be an amazing experience for you. I have a little more then 6 mths clean today and I'm actually writing this review from a Narcotics Anonymous meeting on a Sat night. Thank you for everything that you have done for this addict Keystone. I'm coming back to share my experience, strength and hope.
